Son of Michael Vincent and Priscilla Bridget FORAN, 35 Russell Street, Bathurst

Word was received in Bathurst recently of the death in France of Lance-Corporal Vincent Charles Foran, of the 53rd Battalion, the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. V. Foran, of Russell-street, Bathurst. The deceased, who was nearly 35 years of age, enlisted in Bathurst with the "Dinkums'' in April, 1916, and had been twice wounded. Deceased was educated at the Patrician Brothers' School.
