Clifford Gladstone GENTLE was born in Armidale, NSW on 18th November, 1891

His parents were Charles GENTLE & Harriet LONG

He enlisted in Sydney on 16th November, 1915 & embarked from Sydney on the HMAT Argyllshire on 11th May 1916 with the 7th Field Artillery Brigade

Clifford was Killed in Action at Ploegsteert in Belgium on 5th June, 1917 and is buried in the Strand Military Cemetery
