Douglas George BISHTON was born on 9th October, 1887 in Devonport, Tasmania

His parents were George Whiston BISHTON and Emma OLDAKER who married on 23rd September, 1868 in Tasmania

His brother Lyndon Henry (SN4285) also served in WW1 and returned to Australia in 1918
