"74 Corporal Percy William Geraty, A Company, 33rd Battalion, of Cargo, NSW. A motor driver prior enlistment he embarked from Sydney on board HMAT Marathon on 4 May 1916. Cpl Geraty transferred to the 9th Australian Light Trench Mortar Battery; he was killed in action in Armentieres, France on 23 December 1916, aged 23." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)
