Son of William and Anne FORD, Belmore Street, Goulburn.
Seved in Egypt and Gallipoli - wounded at Hill 60 22 August 1915 - invalided to Lemnos and Malta Hospitals and Epsom War Hospital. He recovered and returned to duty in France and participated in all engagements until 20 May 1918 when he returned to Australian and was discharged 10 August 1919.
