Son of Otto George Towalt Olsen and  Elizabeth Olsen nee Ries of James Street, Toowoomba, QLD

Commenced return to Australia on 13 March 1919 aboard HT Ulimaroa disembarking on 19 April 1919 at Melbourne for onward travel to Brisbane

Medals: 1914-1915 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal

On 20 September 1919 George married Mina Mary Wilson in QLD
