Aircraftman I Trevor Evans (Service No:455105) initially served with the Militia (Private; Service No:W6780) with 11/16th Battalion from 25 February 1936 to 30 June 1940. On 30 July 1940 he enlisted in the ACMF (Corporal; Service No:W30154) before enlisting in the AIF on 19 March 1941 where he served as a Corporal, Lance Corporal and Sergeant (Service No:WX11215) with 2nd Armoured Division and 23 Garrison Battallion until he Discharged on 8 August 1944. The next day he enlsited with the RAAF (Aircraftman I; Service No:455105) and was attached to RAAF Base Pearce when he Discharged on 25 July 1946.

Born in 1917 at Leonora WA, Trevor was the youngest of two children of Evan Morgan Evans (b1876 in Glamorgan, Wales) and Mary Elizabeth Williams (b1888 in Brisbane, QLD). Evan was an Agricultural Servant in Wales before he immigrated, and was a Miner and Horse Driver at Gwalia, WA when in 1915 he and Mary married. Evan and his family moved to Perth in the late 1920s and Evan worked as an Agent until his death in 1941.

Trevor started work as a Garage Hand with Atwood Motors Ltd in Perth before enlisting with the Militia in 1936. He was a Coach Painter by 1943, and following his Discharge from the RAAF in  1946, lived with his mother in South Perth until Mary's death in 1966. Trevor worked as a Coach Painter and Draftsman in Perth and died in 1999.
