Son of Michael and Ellen MARKHAM, 154 Dennison Road, Petersham, NSW

Frederick saw service in Egypt, Gallipoli and France where he was wounded at Bois Grenier on 5th May 1916 and invalided to the 3rd London General Hospital.  He returned to duty on 21st September  and was wounded on a second occasion at Fleurs on 14 November 1916.

Returned to Australia June 1917 and as discharged medically unfit 3rd August 1917.
