His brother 3323 Corporal Donald Alan Munro 3rd Brigade Australian Field Artillery was killed in action 1st June, 1917. Age 24.

Both were the sons of Alexander and Jessie Ross Munro. They were born at Hillgrove NSW but the family seemed to move to Bunbury WA in the late 1800's.
