Son of Peter and Isabella Jarvie, of 5, Lane St., Ballarat, East Victoria.

Mrs Jarvie, of Lane street, Ballarat East, has been advised that her son, Pte P. A. Jarvie, has been killed in action in France. He was born in Ballarat East, and educated at the Brown  Hill State school. Before enlisting he was in the employ of the Geelong Harbor Trust. He left in June, 1915, for Egypt, and spent about 16 weeks at Gallipoli. He was 37 years of age.
