H. J. WILLIAMS
The funeral of Lieut-Colonel Henry James Williams, DSO , 57 years, of Blyth st, Brunswick, who died in a private hospital on Sunday, took place at Fawkner Cemetery yesterday.  He was a well known Collins st doctor, and was military examining officer at Brunswick. He had been a member of Brunswick sub-branch of the Returned Soldiers' League for many years. He has left a widow, a daughter, and a son. Solemn Requiem Mass was celebrated at St Patrick's Cathedral by Rev Father Power, parish priest of Brunswick. The funeral was  attended by representatives of the military forces and returned soldiers' organisations. Pall-bearers were Messrs O'Sullivan, Colahan, and J. Long, Drs P Rowan, J. F C McKenzie, and A Brennan. Funeral arrangements were by Mulqueen and Sons.

He was surved by a widow, daughter (Ina) and a son (Roger).
