" 2204 Pte Royal Sharewood Mackey, 4th Reinforcements, 4th Battalion... embarked on HMAT Karoola (A64) on 15 June 1915. Pte Mackey, formerly a blacksmith of Kogarah, NSW, was killed in action on the Gallipoli peninsula on 27 August 1915." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)
