Son of Francis James Oyston and Elizabeth Oyston nee McMillan of 'Glen Millan', Baker's Hill, WA.
Brother of Francis John McMillan Oyston who was killed in action on 29 September 1917 while serving with the 32nd Battalion and has no known grave. His name appears Menin Gates, Ypres, Panel 23.
