Son of John and Mary BRUSNAHAN, 10 Street, Port Pirie West, South Australia
Sergeant P. J. BRUSNAHAN, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Brusnahan, of Port Pire West, was killed in action on April 17, 1917. He was previously reported wounded and missing. Prior to enlisting the deceased was employed for a number of years by the Broken Hill Proprietary Company at Port Pirie smelters. He afterwards left for Tasmania, where he also worked at smelters. He enlisted in February, 1915, and was in Egypt and also at the landing at Gallipoli, where he was wounded on two occasions. He was I afterwards sent to France, where he made the supreme sacrifice. Mr. Brusnahan's other son returned a few weeks ago, having been invalided home.
