Private Charles Thomas Taylor (1513), he was born at Wark in England. He embarked from Australian 12th May 1916, joined the Artillery Training at Tel-el-kebir 16th June 1916. He crossed into France. He was severely wounded in August 1917 during the bombardment of Hill 60, as result he had his right leg amputated at the knee and was returned home February of 1919. He eventually found work and worked at the W.A.G.R Workshops.
