Michael William AYLWARD was born in 1888 in Mount Egerton, Victoria
His parents were Michael AYLWARD and Mary Ann WALSH
He enlisted in Melbourne on 17th July, 1915 & embarked with the 21st Infantry Battalion, 4th Reinforcements on 27th September, 1915 on the ship Hororata
Michael was Killed in Action in France on 26th August, 1916 and is buried in Aveluy Wood Cemetery
