4083 Private William James Alexander Cock, 21st Battalion of Ballarat East, Vic. A woolblender prior to his enlistment on 10 January 1916 he embarked from Melbourne on board HMAT Wiltshire on 7 March 1916. Cock returned to Australia on 13 February 1917 after being wounded in action.
