Frederick Charles KNUCKEY was born in Gawler, South Australia on 7th June, 1878
His parents were Joseph KNUCKEY and Eliza LITTLETON
He was recommended for a Military Medal for for conspicuous gallantry - see link for details)

His brother Joseph Walter KNUCKEY also served in WW1 (SN 7624) and returned to Australia in 1919
