"...4035 Private Thomas Terry, 12th Battalion. A labourer from Cape Portland, Tasmania prior to enlistment, Pte Terry embarked with the 12th Reinforcements from Melbourne on RMS Orontes on 24 November 1915. Whilst serving in France he developed pleurisy and was evacuated to England. Following his recovery he rejoined his unit and was wounded in action.
