Address at the time of enlistment was given as Kempsey, NSW. Legatee was given as his brother James Quinlan of Kempsey, NSW
Son of Johanna Quinlan of Crofton, Lixnaw, County Kerry, Ireland.
Not eligible for medals due to being an illegal absentee. He had also served from September 1915 but was discharged during March 1916 as he was considered not likely to become an efficient soldier.
