Percy Edward George (service number 115) was born in Bathurst New South Wales in 1895 and died on 19th November 1915 at Gallipoli. He died from a gunshot to his thigh. He was 20 when he died and he was 5 feet and 6 inches tall weighing 140lbs with a chest measurement 35 inches. Percy was found with no medical issues and was fit to go to war. His Parents were GEORGE, Henry (dad) and WELLS, Mary (mum) and they lived on Vale Road, Bathurst, NSW with Percy. Percy was single and he worked as a carpenter, he also went to the Church of England.

Percy Edward George enlisted to be in World War 1 on the 17th August 1914 his rank of enlistment was private and his unit name was 1st Infantry battalion. He then embarked from Sydney on board the HMAT A19 Africa on 18th October 1914 at the age of 19. Percy was buried in the Ari Burnu Cemetery Anzac, Gallipoli (Row F, Grave number 27).
