Biography contributed by Cheryl Thompson

Married name Kerr.

Thelma Gibson was School Captain of St Margaret’s in 1925 and later became a physiotherapist in the Australian Army Nursing Service. She served in Singapore and, like Blanche, was evacuated on one of the last ships before the fall of Singapore. Her ship was also bombed but made it to Perth ten days later.
