Norman Edward George was born on 23 December 1924, To Norman, and Mary Gale nee' Phelan. Norman worked as a carpenter & joiner.

Norman joined the Australian Army, to fight in the 2nd WW in 1943 at the young age of 19 years and 3months he survived the war & returned to Australia. to married Joan Eleanor Newman in 1947 in Victoria, Australia. They had one daughter, during their marriage. He died on 22 August 2005 in Coolum, Queensland, Australia at the age of 80, A Private Cremation was conducted by DRYSDALE FUNERALS Sunshine Coast.Queensland Australia. Norman's ashes were transported to the Springvale Botanical Cemetery, Victoria, Australia.
