Son of Oliver and Blanche Maud BLAYNEY

Arthur joined the service of the Bank of NSW on 12th April 1915 at Flinders Street West and one year later was transferred to Richmond, Vic.

He was killed in action by shell fire on 26th September 1917 whilst defending the line at Polygon Wood near Ypres.
