Mr Wayne F Goodman
Michael James Pickett was my Uncle.
He was a Changi Prisoner. He never talked about his ordeal it cut him very deeply.
From what I have been told he never got caught sneaking out of the prison. But got caught several times sneaking back in. As an experienced bushman from Batemans Bay he would regularly sneak out of camp at night to find food for his fellow prisoners. Unfortunately I never got to confirm these stories with him.
