Harold Leslie Cole was born in Caltowie, SA, in 1894. He attended Adelaide High School before joining the war when he was 19. During his time between school and the war he was a Farm Labourer.
He embarked via Geelong from Adelaide on the 31st of the 5th 1915. On the 16th of October 1916 he was remastered as Driver on being transferred from Bearer to Trans, sub-division. On the 8th of January 1919, he went to England for RTA. (Returning to Australia)
He returned to Australia on the 2nd of March 1919, where his fate was unknown.
