Son of George Faux and Mary Jane Faux nee Greer of Horsham, Victoria. Brother of William Greer, Elizabeth Greer, Alexander Greer, Henry Faux, Alice Faux, Eva Faux who returned to Australia during 1919 having served with the Australian Army Nursing Service and Mary Jane Faux

Husband of Agnes Isabella Faux nee Wright of Wonwonah Road, Horsham. George and Agnes married during 1911c in Victoria

Commenced return to Australia on 8 September 1919 aboard HT Ranranga disembarking on the 27 October 1919
