The youngest son of James and Bertha Graham, of Quandong, Grenfell, New South Wales. Victor's three elder brothers, Wilfred, Arthur and Thomas, all served in infantry units of the AIF and returned to Australia during 1919.
Victor was killed in action during the taking of Pozieres village on 23 July 1916. He was buried where he fell. His remains were exhumed in 1930 and reinterred in the Serre Road No.2 Cemetery.
