Son of Andrews Oders and Mary Kartan formerly Oders of Gatharina Street, Pernan, Russia
On 27 December 1918 Alexander married Constance Evelyn Wakeman in the Registry Office, Hackney, London, England. Henry Jerrard, Registrar and H. Brougham Loney, Superintendant officiated.
Commenced return to Australia on 21 June 1919 aboard HT Konigin Luise disembarking on 2 August 1919
