Served his seven year apprenticeship with J.W. Moore of Chichester

Commenced return to Australia on 8 October 1919

Previously served with the Royal Sussex Regiment's 3rd Battalion for three years

Medals: 1914-15 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal
