Charles Andrew MINNIECE was born in Bealiba, Victoria in 1886

His parents were David MINNIECE & Margaret Sophia SORRELL who married in Victoria in 1874

He enlisted in Melbourne on 15th November, 1915 & embarked with the 24th Infantry Battalion, 9th Reinforcements on the HMAT Warilda from Melbourne on 8th February, 1916

He was wounded on 22nd August, 1916 & again on 6th January, 1917 and died from his wounds on 7th January 1917

Charles is buried in the Heilly Station Cemetery, Plot V, Row F, Grave 27
