15 Sep 1942:	Imprisoned El Alamein, transported from Tripoli to Italy on the ship "Nino Bixio" after arrival was held at "Campo 57" and then later "Campo 106" but than later escaped from captivity and fled to Switzerland.
11 Oct 1944:	Embarked Australian Military Forces (WW2) , WX5013, 2nd/28th Infantry Battalion, Embarked from the UK after repatriation to return to Australia.
