Elmor Herman SCHAFFERIUS was born in Plainland, Queensland on 18th September, 1919
His parents were Julius Wilhelm SCHAFFERIUS & Johanna SCHLOSS
He married Jean Gwenyth LAWRANCE in Rosevale Methodist Church, Queensland on 21st February, 1942
He enlisted in the Army on 28th June 1941 & served during WW2 with the 105 Res. Motor Transport Coy and the 112 Australian General Transport
Elmor died of a stroke on 16th September, 1973 in the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane
