Son of John O'Mara and Bridget Mary O'Mara formerly Regan nee McGrath of York Road, Midland Junction, WA.

Patrick married Annie Jane Rogers nee Chalk of Wallgrave Road, Earls Court, London, England on 6 January 1916 in the Church of Our Lady of Victories, Kensington, London, England. Priest T. B. Walsh officiated
