James Barrington BILLETT
I am Garry John BILLETT son of Colin Edard Billett who was the youngest Bother of James Barrington Billett or Uncle BARRY. Barry Billett never married and lived with his mother RUBY HELENA BILLETT (who remarried George Sinclar during the War) at Roseville died at Lane Cove in 3/5/1974 in my Father Colin's arms of throat cancer.
I was 23 at the time. I have James's (uncle Barry) War Medals and will give them to my son Simon Peter Billett
James Barry Billett as he was enlisted who's name was James Barrington BILLETT in the Middle East and was sent to the War in the Pacific against the Japs, never married and worked in many areas and i remember him working at Garden Island as an Electrical Assistant
Barrys is one of 3 sons to James Charles Robinson Billett and Ruby Helena Billett (nr. Morehead) Staff Sergeant John Chalmers Billett who died in Australia 27/34/1943 of a broken neck and my Father the youngest Colin Edward Billett.
I did not know John but I have his Service Medal which i will give to my daughter Isabel
l have 2 sisters PENNY / Penelope Jane Billet RAINNIE and Elizabeth Anne Billett KOCH who were 16/17 and 14/13 when BARRY died but they really didn't know him
