At the time of death he was residing at Clarence Park, SA

Brother of Albert Fuss, Kate Olive Fuss, Francis Gray, Henry Fuss who was killed in action on 19 October 1917 and has no known grave, his name appears on Menin Gate, Ypres,  Harrold Fuss and Leslie Fuss.

Commenced return to Australia on 15 June 1919 aboard SS Soakopmund disembarking on 30 July 1919

On the 16 April 1921 Roy married Doris Gates in the Methodist Church, Moseley Street, Glenelg, SA
