When Kenneth Maurice BATTERSBY was born on 1 September 1896 in Geelong, Victoria, his father, James, was 25 and his mother, Isabella, was 26. He married Harriet Louisa Matilda Moore in 1916 in Victoria. They had three children during their marriage. He died on 25 January 1955 in Ascot Vale, Victoria, at the age of 58.

BATTERSBY. - On January 25 (suddenly), at Geelong Hospital, Kenneth Mae, dearly beloved hus-band of Harriett (Addie) Battersby, of 98 Epsom rd.. Ascot Vale, lov-ing father of Kenneth, Richard (Port Moresby), and Irene. -In God's care.
BATTERSBY. - On January 25 (suddenly), Kenneth Mae, loved youngest son of Isabella Margaret, and loving brother of Clive and Irene (Mrs. R. Rutley), 42 Bal-moral avenue, Strathmore.
