Son of John Frederick Quinn and Jane Quinn nee Charet of 7th Avenue, Maylands, WA formerly of Melbourne, Victoria

Commenced return to Australia on 3 January 1916 aboard HT Ulysses for three months change he later re-embarked HT Berrima to return to England. 

Commenced return to Australia on 12 May 1919 aboat HT Soudan disembarking on 21 June 1919
