Son of William and Elizabeth Brown, of 12, Carrington St., Leichhart, New South Wales
IN MEMORY OF THE DEARLY LOVED SON OF MR. & MRS. BROWN OF SYDNEY, N.S.W.
Alfred saw service in Egypt, France and Belgium and was serverely wounded on April 14, 1918 and died the next day. He and his brother William were held in high esteem by their officers, who wrote to the parents speaking in the highest praise of both.
