Son of Robert HAGAN and Nancy HAGAN nee FLETCHER of 'Fernview', Barraba

Husband of  Theresa Ellen HAGAN nee DOWD, Goonoo Goonoo Road, Tamworth, New South Wales

Pte. Hagan killed in action September 20, 1917, son of R. Hagan, 'Fernview,' Barraba, enlisted 'from Tamworth on August 2, 1916. Prior to enlisting Pte. Hagan was employed at  Mount Erin, Barraba. He leaves a widow and one child, now residing at Goonoo Goonoo Road, West Tamworth.

HAGAN.— In memory of Albert Myles Hagan, killed in action 26th September, 1917;
Killed in action say the cables,
That is all the tale they tell
Of the soldier brave who loved us;
Of the one we loved so well.
How his life was spent we know not;
What the last word, look or thought.
Only that he did his duty,
Died as bravely as he fought.
