William (known as Bill) married May Frances CORSEY on 19 Mar 1909 in St Luke Church Adelaide.

Bill was the eldest son of John and Alice (nee HALL) POPE of Unley, South Australia.

May was the eldest daughter of Joseph Bonaventure and Ann (nee HENNESSY) CORSEY of Port Adelaide, South Australia.

Bill and May had 4 children - 3 sons and 1 daughter.

In 1941 the family were living at 35 Carlton st, Rosefield, South Austration.
