Commenceed return to Australia on 5 March 1919 aboard HT Nevasa disembarking on 26 April 1919

Medals: British War Medal, British War Medal

On 30 September 1919 he re-enlisted Servece number 86073 for Special Service overseas and embarked in Sydney NSW on 12 August 1919 aboard HMAT Yeringa for Europe with Deporters.

Returned to Australia on board HT Cape Verde on 29 February 1920

Discharged 14 March 1920 at the 2nd Military District as medically unfit
