He was born in the West Derby district of Liverpool, Lancashire; he was29 and the nephew and adopted son of Mrs. Jane Kenyon, of 25, Edith Rd., Orrell, Bootle, Liverpool, England.

He is honoured on the Bootle War Memorial.
