John James Gordon - One of the Youngest Australian Casualties of WW1
John James Gordon served as Private James Gordon, aged 14 years old at the time of enlistment. He changed his name to avoid being discovered at the recruitment office. Private Gordon would be the youngest Killed In Action at Fromelles and the fourth youngest Killed In Action during the war, at 15 years old.
