In 1963, the son of Wiliam Henry LANGDON, Douglas discovered the most complete fossilied dinosaur skelton in Australia athe time. In 1981 it was named in his honour - Muttaburasaurus Langdoni. His discovery has gone on to attract many people to the small town of Muttaburra.
