Son of Michael O'Hehir and Elizabeth O'Hehir of Walker Street, Redfern, NSW

Apprenticed to J.F. Worrell of Sydney for five years

Commenced return to Australia on 19 August 1919 aboard HT Ajana but failed to re-embark at America on 3 September 1919; journeyed to NZ aboard Paparoa then  continued passage to Australia on 11 November 1919 from New Zealand aboard HT Mooraki disembarking on 14 November 1919

Not eligible for medals.

During 1936c Cornelius married Mary Gertrude Clare in Redfern, NSW
