Ernest was born Lawrence Ernest on the 6th February 1893 at Coomera Queensland.
He died 22nd December 1961 in Brisbane.
His parents were Edmund Ford and Mary Jane nee Pollock.
His family were Tamborine Pioneers.
He has a file at the Logan Village Museum.
