Correction

Peake,
This is an inaccuracy created by an error in the book, 'Official Records of the Australian Military Contingents to the War in South Africa, by P L Murray, In actual fact the individuals correct name is Albert Edward Henry Peake. The evidence for this assertion is his Boer War Medal (held by the writer) and the Attestation Roll held in National Archives, Adelaide. A E H Peake, went on to serve in the First World War.
