Son of John Peter Vivian and Louise Jane Vivian nee Degenhardt of Mannum, SA.
Brother of James Seymour Vivian who returned to Australia who returned to Australia on 18 September 1919 having served with the 9th Battalion.
Commenced return to Australia on 16 May 1919 aboard HT Orari disembarking on 26 June 1919
Medals: British War Medal, Victory Medal
On 20 November 1920 Victor married Gertrude Olive Shaw in the Holder Memorial Church, Mile End, SA.
Post war he worked as a shearer and a member of the Mannum Rifle Club
