OUR DEARLY LOVED HERO SON THE BRAVE NEVER DIE
Served in Egypt and France and died as a result of an accident 13 July 1916
CHANDLER.—In sad and loving memory of our darling son, Instructor Aubrey Clare Chandler, who was killed in France, July 13, 1916.
One precious link in our home is broken.
Greater love hath no man than this,
That he lay down his life for his (Friend).
Inserted by his parents, late of Kogarah.
CHANDLER.—In ever-loving memory of my darling brother, Aubrey Clare Chandler, who was killed in France July 13, 1916.
The flower of the family, he was loved and liked by all ;
Was chosen just twelve months ago to answer the great call ;
Our hearts for him are lonely, we are lonely night and day.
We miss him, yes, we miss, more than words can say.
His welcome step, his winning ways, are pleasant to recall ;
He had a pleasant word for each, and was beloved by all.
Inserted by his ever-loving sister, Doris.
